Davenport Wedding Photographer-Alex and Ashley

What a busy summer it's been! I've been MIA in blogging land, so I want to catch up. Today's wedding images are from a wedding I shot in June. Another great couple-how do I get so lucky??

Ashley and Alex were married at Steeple Gate Inn in Davenport. The weather guy called for slight chance for rain.


We were lucky all morning to get outdoor photos, but the clouds started rolling in right before the ceremony.

We thought that we would be okay, but it started to drizzle as they said their vows. Not enough to stop the wedding though-whew!

They wanted to do couple photos at Vander Veer Park, so we headed off to the park. A busy day at the park-we saw three other brides!

Back to the hotel afterwards, to finish off the night. A beautifully decorated room with lilac inspired tables. Wow!Congrats, Ashley and Alex!

Janet's colors were black and white-my favorite. ; ) We couldn't of asked for more perfect

weather too!

A beautiful bride and handsome groom make for the best images. A great couple to work with as well!

I love urban backgrounds for couple photos. So cool!

Janet and Mike had a great group of people in their wedding party as well.

The reception hall was beautiful and the decor blended well with her theme.

The food was delicious and the cupcakes tasty!

A year of weddings

I would like to take this time to thank all the couples that let me be a part of their special day in 2011. I think of them as a new friend and hope to stay in touch!
